Tracking how students discover opportunities, make education decisions, and navigate barriers.

Transparency before certainty
Student Pulse surveys and polls are voluntary, opt-in research. Unless a report states otherwise, respondents are not a probability sample and results should not be treated as representative of all students in a country or across Africa. We do not assign a conventional margin of error to opt-in samples.
Each published report should be read alongside its specific methodology and limitations. We describe what was asked, who took part and what the data can—and cannot—support.
Research made to be read, checked and cited
Journalists, educators, universities, researchers, and policymakers may cite published Student Pulse findings with attribution.
Use the permanent report URL and include the date, respondent context and limitations when sharing results. Never describe an opt-in survey as a nationally representative estimate.
